Telehealth, the use of electronic communication to remotely provide health care information and services, is gaining more and more attention as the current healthcare system has been stressed by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Physical therapy is no exception, and we are committed to keeping our current patients going while opening up opportunity for new patients to develop safe and effective strategies for gaining function and decreasing pain.
While there are changes daily with respect to insurance coverage, at this point most major insurance companies will cover Telehealth services for physical therapy for all patients who qualify for regular in-clinic physical therapy.
Here at Alliance we have committed ourselves to not just using teleheatlh as a placeholder for you in-clinic visits but to enhance you patient experience. In doing so we have upgraded the programing we use to offer telehealth services and use a physical therapy specific platform that integrates home exercises and telehealth into one.
